Hi, I'm Jewel
I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I love to travel and talk to others about freedom and individualism. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am a Mom of 7 children. I am passionate about American Patriotism. I love to study and learn. My Quest in life is to serve God and Build the Kingdom in every capacity I know.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was baptized when I was 8 years old by my father. I have learned about the Gospel both from my family, friends and Church leaders. I am passionate about the truths found within it's principles and I eagerly seek to gain greater knowledge through personal study, prayer and revelation.
Personal Stories
Which of the Savior’s teachings have influenced you in your life?
"He is the alight and the life of the world yea, a light that is endless, that can never be darkened yea, and also a life which is endless, that there can be no more death." Mosiah 16:9 I cannot imagine anything greater than the knowledge that God lives and therefore we can overcome every challenge in our lives, even death itself. His Atonement and Sacrifice granted us the ability to repent of our sins and return to Him spotless and without darkness. I will forever love Him and worship Him. This knowledge has given me hope and helps me live a better life.
How I live my faith
I strive daily to live the standards and teachings of the Gospel. As a full time mom, my example and teachings to my children is vital. I support my husband in his endeavors. He is also very supportive of me. I have found that daily prayer and Scripture study, though these ideas may seem trite, are the foundation to a good day and helping make better decisions. I try to do my best in my callings and service to those whom I know and love. I am certainly grateful for the things I have learned along the way. Life has come with it's deep challenges and hurtles to overcome. It has been the Gospel of Jesus Christ that has kept me going forward, given me the strength to wake up each morning and try to be better, and given me the peace the God is aware of my needs and desires. There have been times that I have questioned my ability to succeed, but through the Spirit of the Holy Ghost and through the actions of good people, and my own desire for happiness, I continue to believe every opportunity can and will be to our benefit and success in every area is available when we trust and act on the promptings of the Spirit.
