Josh: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Josh

I'm love helping children as a pediatrician. I'm a husband, father, and a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of 3 beautiful girls and have a wonderful wife. I am a pediatrician and will be pursuing a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology. I enjoy spending time with my family, taking pictures, and playing sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have studied, fasted and prayed about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and know that this is His true church. I gained this knowledge over time and not all at once. While I have grown up in the Church, I have questioned my faith at times, wondered if this is the right place for me, but I have always had the reassurance that the Lord wants me to be here. This Church has the fulness of His Gospel and has the ability to change the world for better. It is changing it, one person at a time. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Joseph Smith was a Prophet. I have been blessed by the Lord to know these truths, and am eternally grateful for it. I know that everyone can have these same experiences and our Heavenly Father will answer every sincere prayer.

Personal Stories

How has your knowledge of the Plan of Happiness changed/benefited your life?

I recently lost a brother-in-law to cancer and a grandfather to the perils of old age. While these men have been examples to me and have caused me to sorrow due to their passing, I find comfort in the knowledge that they are with their Heavenly Father. I know that I will see them again. I know that if I live my life in accordance with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I will live with them as a forever family. The Plan of Happiness helps me to not fear death. It helps me to not be laden with sorrow, but filled with joy from the restored gospel of Christ and the good news that He lives.

How I live my faith

I'm involved with the youth in my ward. These Young Men and Women are incredible! They hunger and thirst after the gospel and are living righteous lives. I feel truly bless to have this opportunity to work with them. People at my work know that I'm a Mormon and sustain me in my faith. We have had discussions about the church and the gospel in a variety of places. Since I work in healthcare, I have had many opportunities to provide blessings to those who are sick of my faith and have asked for a priesthood blessing. Miracles happen and I'm truly grateful that the Lord answers prayers and sustains us in times of trial.
