About Me

I love being active! I've competed in many marathons and triathalons and love the thrill I get as I cross that finish line, but nothing compares to the joy that I get from my family. As a new mom, my life now evolves around my precious little boy and as always my loving husband.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I can sum it up in one word: JOY! I know that our loving Father in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ want us to be happy and they want us to feel the true joy that They have, so they provided a way for us to feel that and to come to know how to be like Them...being a part of Christ's Church on the earth gives us the answers on how to do this. I am a Mormon because it gives me true joy here on this earth and a promise of joy throughout eternity.

How can we develop greater harmony in our homes?

I've found that as my husband and I kneel in prayer together each day, there is a sweet love that permeates our home and our relationship. We come closer to each other as we come closer to our Father in Heaven. I feel that love that God has for me and for my husband. It helps us in all that we do and has strengthened our marriage. I feel peace from above and know that daily prayer with my husband is what God wants us to do.

How I live my faith

I try my best...doesn't mean I'm perfect, but I know that this is what brings me happiness as I live the gospel of Jesus Christ by exercising faith in Him. Day to day I try my best to be more like Him and follow His example. I come closer to Him as I try to read the scriptures and pray daily. I come to know Him as I feel His Spirit with me. I come to love Him more as I serve and love those I interact with each day.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

My husband is so good to me and is so loving and supportive. I love him so much and I couldn't imagine my life without him... that is one of the beautiful truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that through Our Savior's sacrifice for us, He made it possible for us to live again and live as a family forever. Through the temple we come to make wonderful promises with God and He binds us together as husband and wife for all eternity through His Priesthood power which is God's power on the earth. We are a part of God's family...He is the loving Father of our spirit and of course He wants us to be with Him forever.

YES!!! This is one of my favorite parts of the gospel. I believe that my family will live together in heaven. I will know my family as my family members. My husband is my husband for now and for all eternity. My children are my children here on earth and for all eternity. I know that if something happened to one of us that I will see them again. I love this about the church. Before joining, I always had a question about this concept and when taking the discussions from the missionaries this came up. Makes me love the church more and more.

Are Mormons Christians?

YES. Yes yes yes. What is a Christian? A Christian is a person that believes in Jesus Christ, and believes that Christ did in fact die for us so that we can repent and return to live with him again. He is our Savior and Redeemer. We pray and we worship in the name of Jesus Christ. He is the center of our faith. Jesus Christ is my Savior. He died for me. He loves me. He is my hero, and he is my best friend.
