Emily: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Emily

I'm a mother of three little kids. I love my crazy, busy, beautiful life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The most important thing you should know about me, is that everyday when I wake up I find myself to be the luckiest person alive...not because life is easy and perfect, but because life is hard and imperfect, but mostly because I am a mom and a wife...I am also a daughter, a sister, a friend, a daughter of God. Things I love...singing, the beach, ice cream, Disneyland, dates nights, good music, clean sheets, and watching my kids play.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the one thing that brings me TRUE, ETERNAL happiness is the gospel of Jesus Christ. With it, I know I can do all things. With it, I know I can be with my family forever. With it, I know that my Savior loves me and lives. With it, I know that even in the darkest moments of my life, there is light, hope, peace, and love.

Personal Stories

Which of the Savior’s teachings have influenced you?

My favorite teaching of the Savior's is in John 8:7 "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone"

We are all here in this imperfect world to be imperfect, to make mistakes, to learn, and to grow together. We are not here to judge and ridicule. We all have different paths to walk, different mountains to climb, and different challenges to bear. We are here to love, to help, to encourage, and to shoulder burdens of others when we can. What would the Savior do?:)

My life has been filled with many happy, wonderful times, but my life has also seen many hardships, pain and loneliness, and lots of tears. I always hope that I may be extended unconditional love, grace, and help. Let us not judge, but love...for all we have our crosses to bear whatever they may be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to serve and love others no matter what their faith, background, or circumstance. I live my faith by serving and teaching the young children in our ward. I live my faith by being an example to and teaching my children.
