Hi, I'm Daniel
I'm a husband, a father, a manager, a gardener, and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
My wife and I have taken the challenge of raising 3 wonderful children together. It is hard work, but I wouldn't trade it for anything else I could have.
Why I am a Mormon
I believe that God answers prayers and guides us individually. I feel His guidance and help each day and I feel that being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the greatest blessing in my life.
Personal Stories
How has The Book of Mormon helped you understand the purpose of life?
Whenever I read or listen to the Book of Mormon, I feel closer to God and I get ideas of which things are most important for me to do with my life. When I was in college I struggled for a long time over which education path I should choose. The Book of Mormon teaches "But the laborer in Zion shall labor for Zion; for if they labor for money they shall perish." 2 Nephi 26:31
I took this to mean that I should choose a career based on how I can use what God has given me to help others, not just which one will give me the most money. I made that choice, and I've been very happy in my work knowing that I am doing what I can to help others while supporting my family.
How I live my faith
I've been thinking a lot about the Savior's commandment that we love one another. To live my religion, I look for ways to treat others with love and respect.

Joseph Smith
As is the case throughout history God has communicated to His children through prophets. God used a humble man as a prophet to restore His Church on earth who ultimately died defending His faith.
