Kami: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Kami

I'm a wife, a mother, a learner, a daughter of God, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother to two young children. I love health and nutrition, photography, blogging, going for walks with my family, cooking from scratch, and traveling. I also like to read but don't find much time to do that currently. I love Europe, especially France and love learning French. I also love Germany, as I have German heritage. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Elementary Education.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ and strive to follow His teachings. I continue to live the gospel of Jesus Christ because it feels right. When I participate in church meetings, read the scriptures, pray, attend the temple, or do any other things that are gospel-oriented, I feel the Spirit testify to me that it is true. I know that this is Jesus Christ's church and I am so grateful for the happiness His gospel brings to my life.

Personal Stories

How has the Holy Ghost helped you?

I am so grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost. I strive to listen to its promptings in everything I do. One way I know that I am doing what is right is by listening to how I feel inside. If I feel happy, at ease, relaxed, or peaceful, then I know the Holy Ghost is telling me what I am doing is right. If I feel agitated, uneasy, sad, or negative, then I know that my choice is not right. The Holy Ghost directs my life and as long as I stay in tune with it, the choices that I make always make me happy.

How I live my faith

I go to church each week with my family. Twice a month, I hold an activity at my house with the girls in my ward who are of the ages 10-11. We learn about the gospel and learn other valuable skills that will help them as they progress throughout their life. I also visit teach two sisters in my ward each month. I visit them and we have conversations about our lives. I also share a spiritual message from the Ensign during that meeting.
