Hi, I'm Rob
I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am a teacher at a local technical college where I teach classes in Video Production and Editing. In my free time, I love making movies of my family, friends, and my brand new baby boy. I would say that maybe I'm a bit obsessive over this, but it seems as if he is growing so fast and I want to be able to remember as many moments as possible. I love my family, and if I could have it my way, I would spend every moment with them.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born and raised in the Church. My father made a decision before I was born to give up many of his hobbies to join the Church and focus on what was best for his family. I have seen how that decision profoundly affected his life and how it continues to affect mine. My life has been so blessed by my membership in the church. I feel that all of the happiness that I have received in my life can be traced back to my membership in the church. I would say that is a pretty good track record and I am in no hurry to change that.
How I live my faith
My ward is my family, and I think that I would have a hard time moving away from them. In our ward, I am the leader of a group of men. I help them organize various service activities: in fact, in the past year, I would say that I have helped with assisting at least a dozen families as they have moved in and out of our ward. Now while some would see that as a burden, I really love that I can be a part of a support structure for many of my fellow ward members. That's what Jesus Christ would have done, so its what I should be doing.
