I'm married to a wonderful wife, we have one son, and own a small tree service. I love to hunt and spend time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is his church. Living the principles of the gospel bring me true joy.

Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?

I pray daily, in private, with my family, and always try and have a prayer in my heart. There is real power in Prayer, Heavenly Father answers all of our prayers, he is our father, he loves us and wants what is best for us.

How I live my faith

I try to serve my fellow man, I have been a Scout Master in the Boy Scouts of America, Little League Coach, every year I help to organize the different tree service companies in our area and on Veterans Day we trim the trees at Fort Snelling National Cemetery to help honor the sacrifice of our veterans.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, We believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior, that he suffered in the garden of Gethsemane for all the worlds sins. He died on the cross and was resurrected on the 3rd day. It is only through the grace of Christ that we can repent of our sins and be forgiven and return to live with our Father in Heaven in the next life. Show more Show less

Yes, Mormons are definitely Christians! The official name of our church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. In fact during the course of the Book of Mormon, Christ appears and ministers to the people of The Book of Mormon. We just like other Christian denominations believe that Christ is our Savior. I personally know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. He lived and died for me, and the atonement makes it possible for me to be forgiven and cleansed from my sins. Show more Show less

In whom should we have faith?

For our faith to lead us to salvation it must be centered in Jesus Christ. Faith is one of the most important principles of the gospel, our faith will lead us to do anything else that God commands us. If we do not have faith in Christ as our Savior then we would have no reason to repent, be baptized, and obey His other commandments. In the Book of Mormon we are taught that Christ is the only way, the only path, which can lead to Eternal Life. We also believe in faith as a principle of action. Because we know that Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself to pay for our sins, we must do all that we can to live worthy of that gift. Our faith leads us to repentance and obedience to the commandments of God because we know that these things will bring us closer to Him and we have faith that we will be blessed for our sacrifice.
