About Me

I like snow skiing, SCUBA diving, Hang-Gliding... But I love being a Dad. Which means I need a job that will support a family, so by day I'm a chiropractor.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe it.
It is more truth.
It's the best place for families.

I admire Joseph Smith's Christ-like qualities. Like our Savior, he turned the other cheek, showed love to all he came in contact with, loved life, & put God and others first.

How I live my faith

I read the scriptures and pray daily.
I strive to be kind to all I meet. I go to church weekly. I counsel with others who want guidance.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

We have all knowingly done things we knew were wrong. Sin prevents us from living with God after we die. Jesus paid the price of our sins. If we have faith in Him, repent of our sins, and keep his commandments we will be forgiven and become clean, able to enter the presence of God.

There are doctrinal answers to why we believe we need a Savior to redeem us from the Fall of Adam and to return us to our Father in Heaven that you'll probably come across here. But let me tell you why I need a Savior personally and what He does for me. Christ suffered personally for my pains, sorrows, and sins so that if I ask Him too, He can take them from me. I have been the victim of abuse in my life, and yet through Him I have been able to lay it all at His feet, freely forgive, feel peace, find love, and understand how important negative life experiences can be in teaching us humility. Daily He takes my pain and replaces it with pure love so that I am no longer a victim, but a victor. I need a Savior because He knows me, and through him my flaws become strengths and my pain becomes peace.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

No. Our leaders have always operated from the concept that if we teach one another correct principles, we will then make correct choices and govern ourselves. The Church encourages each person to carefully consider every issue and each candidate and to prayfully seek guidance and then to vote responsibily. We are encouraged to be involved with our communities and nation but the Church does not take political positions or endorse parties or individuals.
