Hi, I'm Elaine.
I'm a modest fashion blogger and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I was born in South Korea, not North, and immigrated to Philadelphia when I was a wee babe. I've since lived in Idaho and Utah. Now I am residing in Los Angeles with my husband making an imprint in the fashion world one modest outfit at a time.
Why I am a Mormon
I grew up Mormon. My parents were separately baptized when they were teenagers and married in the temple. For a long time, I leaned on their testimonies and the testimonies of those around me. It wasn't until I attended a camp for Mormon youth that I discovered my own testimony. I love this gospel and am learning new things about it and my own faith, as it is tested quite frequently, every day. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and for what He's done for me. I am so grateful that He suffered for me so that I didn't have to.
Personal Stories
What has helped develop greater harmony in your home?
My husband and I like to set aside time before we go to sleep to do personal scripture study and prayer. It's nice to fall asleep knowing that the other is not mad.
Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?
I love praying to my Heavenly Father. I pray all the time in my heart. I always try to talk to Him. He gives me solace and guides me through the Spirit.
How I live my faith
I love going to church every week. It's so spiritually nourishing and enriching. I love feeling the Spirit and learning about gospel principles and hearing the testimonies of those around me.
The temple is my haven, my goal for every day. I love visiting the House of the Lord. It gives me a sense of peace and reminds me of the bigger picture in life and what I should be striving for.
