Aubree: Mom, flute, running, teacher, polygamy, kids, Mormon.

Hi, I'm Aubree

I have a B.S. in education, play the flute, and love running. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from college in 2009, and am currently working part time for the university. I've been married just over 2 years to the love of my life! I'm a mom and I love my baby girl! (But I do wish she'd sleep better; boy, am I tired!). I love to be outdoors--hiking, camping, fishing, running, gardening...the list goes on.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know that this is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. It brings me so much joy and comfort! I've followed the counsel given in John 7:16-17: "If any man shall do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself." Through praying to know the truth, living gospel principals, and personal revelation, I know without a doubt that this church contains the fullness of the gospel of Christ. So much peace has come from knowing with surety who I am, where I came from, my purpose while on this earth, and where I'm going after this life. It's absolutely wonderful to know that I am a daughter of God; that He loves me so much! That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by putting into action the principals taught in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am not perfect, and I make mistakes. But I learn from them, repent, and try again. At church my calling is to teach gospel principals to the women age 18 and over. Teaching strengthens my testimony of the gospel. I also live my faith by taking opportunities to serve those around me, such as volunteering and finding ways to make people smile.
