About Me

Well I grew up in the church and have always gone to it. Some of my hobbies include Web Design, Unicycling, and Hikeing. My family is something that is verry special too me. There were some times that I seiriously doubted what I had been brought up into. Thru time I have come to the realization of how many blessings God has given my family and I. I came to know that this church is true and has the potential to help us answer any questions we may have. especially questions about who we are, what our pourpose is on this earth, and especially where we go after this life. I'm curently serving a mission in Pennsylvania. I have seen the gospel of Jesus Christ change lives. we would like to invite you to read the book of mormon and see if it can change your life like it has changed mine.

Why I am a Mormon

Well on top of growing up in the church there comes a time that you need to figure things out on your own. This time came for me in my teen years. I began to sincerely wonder if I was missing something. I had always gone to church but i came to a realization that i missed the whole point. I had been haveing some challenges and I remember deciding to go hikeing in order to find a place kindof away from everything. when I got to the top of the mountain, I Kneeled down and offered a prayer asking if this church was true and if the book of mormon is really another record of scripture. Upon doing this and truely desireing an answer I felt a wave of peace come over Me. I knew at that time that I needed to start studying the scriptures and gaining a stronger testimony. After striveing to do that for some time, I knew that Joseph Smith Truely was called of god to restore many things that were lost over time and changed be man. and that the church he commanded Joseph to organize it truely the kingdom of god once again established on the earth. And this knowledge has helped me find peace thru many trials and tough times. I know that these things are true and I share them with you because i have been blessed with this knowledge.

How I live my faith

some of the ways that I live my faith is by setting a good example to others. also striveing to do what is right. By liveing god's standards i have come to know that we can find more peace and happyness by simply doing what is right

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

The missionary activitys are funded usually substantially from the missionary's themselves. they save up money and than give it to the church. Also members of the church and parent's of a missionary and also non members can contribute to the churches missionary fund. The church than uses that money to ensure that the missionary has a place to live, a form of transportation. all their physical needs are met, food,hygene and so on.
