Marco: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Marco

I'm a friend

About Me

today I have 2 children and I am married to a wonderful woman for 6 years so far. I am from Peru. we got married at the Peruvian temple 10 years after I served in a mission. I think I am 36 by now. We are now trying to teach our children the principles we learnt from God since we were young. Because, honestly, our parents did the best but the things I know now. For sure came from God.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church of Jesuschrist of latter day saints since I was 15 years old. I learnt about the church in a Place called Iquitos in the Peruvian Jungle. I wanted to know things about life and my personal circunstances. Our Heavenly Father, I know for sure that this is true now, answered my questions and that keeps me going.

Personal Stories

Can you think of a specific challenge in your family that Gospel Principles helped overcome?

I never knew what is to live with a family I did not have the chance to have one. My parents never lived together for too long and after they got their fourth baby they got divorced. when I learnt about eternal families. I cried because I wasn't going to be able to make it happen with my parents and 3 siblings but I peaceful thought came to my mind when I was 17 years old. Someday if I am faithfull enough to the things I was learning I would be able to give the gift of a family to my own children.

How I live my faith

Last time an old man needed to be taken to the hospital. like a month ago I think. I did it. there in the hospital. Public hospital, I share Liahonas and fliers about the church to people who were taking care of their relatives at the emergency area where I took this fellow brother of mine. that day I prepared lunch for my family and we watch videos of the church at the end of the day. It was a wonderful Sunday I ended up exhausted.
