About Me

I'm a full-time missionary. Serving in the Montana Billings Mission. I started in Dillon, MT. then went to Lander, Wyoming then on to Great Falls, MT and now I'm in Bigfork, MT. I love working. Ranching, roping, Camping, Snowboarding, Wake boarding, Hunting, Fishing, Learning new things, being with friend and family. After high school I completed a year of college and then worked on a cattle ranch on the Arizona Strip for a year. Now I'm a missionary and I love every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon but didn't experience my own personal conversion until i was 19 years old. I fell away when i was about 17 and was living according to the worlds standards. Because of the prayers of my mother and others the spirit of the Lord hit me one day like a ton of bricks. I knew what i was doing was not what my Father in Heaven would have me do. I wrestled internally with myself for 2 weeks before the good in me overcame the natural man and i wanted to be right with God. Now i know for myself that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is a real tangible thing that can be accessed by anyone the key to access is repentance. The peace i felt from the healing power and forgiveness of the Atonement can be matched by nothing else in this life. I wanted nothing more than to share that with others. Now I am privileged to be a representative of Jesus Christ in sharing the exciting message of the restored gospel to the good people of Montana and Wyoming.

How has the Holy Ghost helped you?

The Holy Ghost testified to me that the Book of Mormon is true and the word of God. By this power i know it to be true along with everything that goes with it.

How can your talents and gifts bless others?

The spirit has directed me in many things. When I am listening I am guided. There are many times when I see the direct result of me listening to the Holy Ghost. I can see the blessings.

How I live my faith

I do my best everyday to learn the will of my Father in Heaven and then do all I can to live in accordance with what i know to be right. I constantly trying to align my will with my Father in Heavens, that is all i have to give him. All other things are His already. I am truly free when i keep the commandments of my Eternal Father. He loves me and each of us. I look forward to serving honorably as a full-time missionary. When I return home I will seek an honorable profession by attending college and then taking a worthy daughter of God to the temple to be sealed for time and eternity and begin our own family and raising a family and teaching them in righteousness.

What is faith?

Faith is an action word. Faith comes from reading the scriptures and receiving a witness from the Holy Ghost, spirit to spirit, that what we read is true. Faith matures as we continue to feast on the scriptures and continue to move forward and take steps of faith. Like a muscle it grows as we exercise it and atrophies as we neglect to do so.

Of all the definitions of faith I have read or heard, I add the simplest and most complete to me, which is the Love of Christ. I cannot think of a better way to describe faith. Love of Christ is the substance of hope in something evident we can not see with earthly eyes. It is the faith in Christ or the love of Christ that enabled Able to make a more perfect sacrifice (Hebrews 11:4). That love is why we believe in Christ, it is why we have grace, it is why we have works, it is why we have belief, it is why we have hope, it is why we have charity, it is the very essence of faith, and faith is the very essence of the Love of Christ

Perfect knowledge is worthless without faith. For instance, most of us have perfect knowledge that applying a pointed pencil to paper will cause a mark. That knowledge will not make a mark if we do not exercise the elements of faith called works (picking up the pencil, applying it to the paper, and making a mark), belief (that doing so will make a mark), and hope (that it actually will make a mark). It is my desire that you would exercise works to find out about Christ and study Him, that you would believe on His words and His life and His sacrifice, and that you would hope that He would have an effect in your life. If you exercise this faith, you will truly come unto Him.

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

In my opinion the real reason people say the Mormon Church is a cult because they don't understand. saying that it is a cult is an easy way to excuse themselves from learn more about it. Its like saying "sushi is slimy raw dead fish" or "computers are of the devil" its easy not to try / learn about stuff if you pair it with a negative word like "devil" or " slimy raw dead fish"
