Hi, I'm Reachel
I'm a fashion consultant, an adoptive mom, and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I adore any combination of travel, vegetarian cooking, modern art, French cinema, Italian opera, poetry, gardening, my husband, and my baby daughter.
During college I specialized in marketing and eventually earned in MBA. I worked in Internet Marketing for several years, but eventually decided I wanted to focus on my home and family.
I quit my job and started doing freelance fashion consulting. I work from home writing, offering fashion advice, and raising my family. I love being a wife, mother, and woman and wouldn't trade it for anything.
Why I am a Mormon
Don't get me wrong, being a Mormon can be a lot of work. But it's rewarding. I can't imagine surviving life without my faith. My parents were both converts to the church, and I am so grateful that they made the sacrifice to raise their children in the church. Because of them, I know who I am, where to go for help, and where I'm headed. I know there is a plan and that makes all the difference

What is hope and what do you hope for?
Hope is the beginnings of faith. We hope when we desire to do our Heavenly Father's will. I hope to have my adoptive daughter sealed to me and my husband. After a six year battle with infertility, we received our darling daughter from a very selfless birth mother. We held her the day she was born and knew she was a part of our family. The same week she was placed with us, I was unexpectedly hospitalized and scheduled for emergency surgery to save my life. My husband was out of town and I was all alone. I was hurting and scared. All I could think about was my week old daughter. i wanted so badly to be with her and my husband. As I went under the anesthesia I prayed that I would live to see my family and be sealed to them in the temple. I knew once this ordinance had been performed, nothing could separate us, not even death. I am now healthy and happy and pregnant with a baby boy. And we are hoping for the day when our whole family can go to the temple together.
Each time I've hoped for righteous ends, my Heavenly Father has answered my desires with experiences that have grown my faith.
How I live my faith
I'm blessed to be able to serve with the teenage girls in my ward. They are so strong and such examples to me. I meet with them every Sunday and every Wednesday night. We talk about how they can develop their talents, accomplish their goals, establish their own moral standards, and one day be married in the temple for not just time but all eternity.
