About Me
I am a father of five children, I have the most beautiful wife a man could wish for. I love Rugby and run my own business that involves spatial tehcnology and mapping for my clients. I love the finer things in life like, fine food, relaxing holidays and being with great people.
Why I am a Mormon
My mother wanted to join the church but was not allowed too, so she moved to Australia against her parents will and joined, I grew up in the church and it has been a great part of my life. Eventually for myself I needed to gain an understanding for myself of which I truly have. I am a mormon because I have recieved a small but powerful witness that it is true, it gives me purpose and direction in my life, in the end I am better off being a mormon than not being one it makes me happy.
Personal Stories
What are you doing to help strengthen your family and make it successful?
I am trying to listen and help my children, I have learnt that I have to set an example in the home. I gather the family together for family business, a game and a lesson on the gospel once a week. I pray for them all everyday. I am not perfect at this but I am really trying. Its worth it, they are worth it.
Can you talk about the missions of the Church and your participation in them?
I served a full time mission when I was 19yrs in Melbourne Australia, I learnt that the Lord loves everyone no matter who they are, I also learnt that his Atonmenet can take a way pain and heartache of any kind. I have memories of been directly guided by his spirit. I am a better person from going, I have a respect for all those that serve the Lord and give of their time, no matter what their religion. It was a great experience being in his service. Today I serve as a Bishop it is a humbling and rewarding calling, I feel my Saviors love when I do his work.
How I live my faith
I believe that the world has awesome people in it, I believe that there are good people everywhere, I thrive on being with them in whatever way I can. Life is extremely busy and opportunities are limited so I just try to be freindly and helpful whenever and wherever I can. I know that when I am serving my fellow beings I am also serving my God, this is how I try to live my faith.
