William: Mormon.

Hi, I'm William

I'm the CEO of a technology company, a husband, and a father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and father of 4. I work at home and am the CEO of dating company. I love sports and the outdoors.

I like to design websites, play sports, read, and play with my children. One of my goals is to eventually campaign for political office.

Why I am a Mormon

Although my father was not a member of the Church when I was growing up I attended services with my mother regularly. My freshman year of college some of my friends were getting ready to go on missions. I knew I had to decide what I was going to do. I set a goal to read the Book of Mormon every night before bed and pray about what I read. Over the course of that semester I repeatedly felt the spirit answer my prayers and confirm that what I was reading was true.

Now as I read the scriptures with my children I feel that same spirit. I also find comfort in the promise of our family being sealed together forever so that our relationship together can continue even after death.

Personal Stories

How has the Book of Mormon helped you understand the purpose of life?

The Book of Mormon teaches me that I have a Heavenly Father who loves all His children. That through faith in Jesus Christ and by keeping His commandments I can have peace in my life and eventually return to live with God.

The Book of Mormon also teaches me how important it is to share my knowledge with other people so they can find that same peace and happiness.

Why/How do you share the gospel with your friends?

I share the gospel with my friends because it has blessed my life so much and I want the same for them. I have found comfort during difficult times and answers to prayers and I want my friends to have those blessings in their lives.

I share the gospel by being the best I can be and not being afraid to be different. Because I am open with my friends about why I am a Mormon they understand me better and respect who I am and what I do. They see some of the blessings of living the gospel in my life and want the same for themselves.

How I live my faith

I assist the full time missionaries those guys in the suits and ties in their labors in our area. I go to lessons with them and help church members learn to share the gospel with their friends. The missionaries stay in the homes of members in our area so I help coordinate that as well.

In addition, I am assigned to be a home teacher to some of the members in our area. I visit three single men in their 50's and a family of 7. I have a companion who goes with me. We make regular calls and visits to make sure our people are doing well and to share a gospel-related message.
