Chris: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Chris

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a dental student in California. I'm a husband and father.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of Jesus Christ and strive to follow his word. Being Mormon means being a follower of Christ and the teachings we learn at church meetings and in the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, help us to better follow Him.

Personal Stories

Why do Mormons go on missions?

We serve missions to first and foremost, spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. That is our true "mission." We want the world to know of our Heavenly Father's plan for us and help to accept that and follow His commandments.

We serve missions to give service and help those in need.

We serve missions to deepen our personal testimonies and see the gospel in action in the lives of ordinary people.

We serve missions because our Heavenly Father has asked us to.

We serve missions to help others find the happiness we have found in the church.

How I live my faith

The prophet Heber J. Grant said, "“I maintain that it is the absolute duty of each and every member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to so order his life that his example will be worth of the imitation of all men, thus bringing credit and blessings to himself and his posterity and also making friends for the work of the Lord. This should be the loftiest ambition of every Latter-day Saint.” I have made that statement my goal in living my faith. I try to live so that others want to know the Savior because they see the happiness He brings me and my family.
