Linda: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Linda

I'm a mom and a wife. I love writing, reading and traveling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member my entire life. I served a mission in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission.I have been married to my sweetheart for 20 years. We have six children ages 6 to 19 and I am a stay at home mom.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the faith and was raised in a Mormon family. My testimony grew steadily as I matured and studied. It was serving a mission and then having a family of my own that I realized the importance of knowing my Savior and His gospel and sharing it with others. The gospel is the only thing that has kept my familiy together and my kids on the right path. It contains all the answers I need as a parent and wife.

Personal Stories

Why do Mormons go on missions?

When you find something you love you want to share it. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is no exception. We believe all of Gods children should have the opportunity to hear the gospel in this life or the next. We are commanded to take His word to all the world. So we send young men and women and senior couples to all the corners of the earth to fulfill this purpose.

I had the opportunity to serve in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission and my husband served in the Chile Conception Mission. Not only did we bring others intot the Gospel during this time but strengthened our own testimonies and became the adults we are today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in it and keeping my family involved. We attend every Sunday. My children are active in the youth programs. I am the Cub Scout leader which my son attends with me. We also live the gospel in our home by reading scriptures, having family prayer and having a weekly Family Home Evening where we sing, pray, play games, share talents and discuss the gospel. This has kept our family close together.
