About Me

I want to go to College to get a medical degree. I love to snowboard/ski. I love anything about cars, talking about, working on, you name it. Playing sports and being active are things that I really enjoy. I always love trying new food and cooking.

Why I am a Mormon

It's the best way to live life. The teachings of Jesus Christ gives you hope. When you live the principles and Commandments your life is much more free. You feel the spirit with you always. Life has more meaning. There are answers to the questions of the soul. There is a reason for why things happen, even when it is to good people.
We have a living Prophet. He leads and guides the church by receiving revelation from Jesus Christ. This is Christ's church. This is his way. It is led by him. We have the fulness of his teachings. We can achieve the full potential of our existence. It is here.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

We go on missions to spread what we know and love. We don't go to Pressure or tell people how to live their lives. We're out here to help those who want to live a life centered on Christ. We want to find those who are willing to make and keep covenants with the Lord. Those who do receive blessings and watch as they feel the guidance of Christ in their life fully. We hope that we can be a blessing in the lives of all that we come in contact with. We are out here because we want to be. We want to serve.

This is real. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ church here on the earth. If you are wondering where can you find happiness, here it is. I know that as we do our part. Keeping covenants, living the commandments, praying each morning and night, attending church meetings, reading the scriptures daily, and trying our hardest to live a Christ like life. We can have an assurance of happiness. We can feel the presence of the Lord very strong in our lives. We must be doers of the gospel and not just believers. It is true. It is amazing. It is perfect for everyone. It takes our part to know if it is true. We all must come to a knowledge of it ourselves. It is nothing given to any of us. We must want it and work for it. It is the greatest thing in our lives. It will only lead us to happiness, comfort, joy, love and peace. I know that it is true. It is amazing.

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith one day at a time. Each opportunity I get I try and serve. We know that we can serve the Lord by serving others. Service is my religion. I go to church each Sunday to learn from the Spirit. Church services is a place where I can go and have the distractions of the world gone. I have my focus more on the Savior and what I need to be doing to achieve the purposes that he has for me in this life. I read the scriptures each day for the same purpose. I also pray always. Doing all these different things helps me keep my thoughts and actions close to Jesus Christ. I can be led by him as I do these things. He can use my talents and abilities to bless the lives of others. I try to live my faith the best that I can so I can stand as an example of the believers.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost is a member of the God Head. He's the guide in our lives. We weren't sent down here to just figure things out ourselves. The Lord gave us a way and a light. The Holy Ghost is that light. He's the compass that leads us from evil and takes us to the teachings of Christ.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

This question is easily answered in the words of one of the children's songs "I know my [Heavenly] Father lives, and loves me too". We believe in a loving God, who knows us each individually. Another way I know that God loves me because he has heard and answered my prayers many times. Some people think that God is angry, but I do not believe that is so. Matthew 7:11 reads, "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to those that ask him?" I think that just explains it all- as parents we want the best for our children. God, our Heavenly parent, wants the best for us, too. As parents, we recognize that giving our children everything they ask for isn't necessarily what's best for them. God does this for us also.
