About Me

Hi my name is Nick. I just got back from serving a mission for the lord in the Pennsylvania Philadelphia mission for two years I loved sharing the gospel with the people that lived there. Now that I am back home I am preparing to go to school. I don't know what I am going to major in, but I know that if I seek the lords help in making those important decisions he will help me to make the right choice.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have seen the joy that comes into others lives as they live the teachings of the church. I am also a Mormon because I have read and prayed about the doctrines of the church and know for my self that this is Christ's one and only true church upon the earth.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? Well I do many little things like praying, studying my scriptures and attending church weekly. I also have the opportunity to help lead the men of our ward. It's great to see how my service to them helps them out. I love serving others especially when you see how much of a difference you have made in their days.

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Well when we die are spirits continue to live. we go to a place called the spirit world where we wait for the resurrection. After the resurrection we will never die again and if we do as the lord wants us to do we can live with him and have eternal Joy.

Why did your church previously practice plural marriage (polygamy)?

Why did Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David and Solomon practice plural marriage? Because God told them to. So why did Mormons practice polygamy? Because God commanded us to. There is nothing new about the concept of polygamy. It is only a tool that the Lord sees fit to put in place on his own time.

Any other reasons for it are God's reasons and the fact of the matter is that an all knowing, perfected being, who also happens to be the father of our spirits commanded that it should be done. It really all comes down to your faith in God.
