Hi, I'm Sean
I'm a tech wizard, a husband, a soon to be father and a gamer. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I was welcomed in to the world by loving parents and siblings while they were living in Germany then had the opportunity of being raised in France, Belgium, North Carolina, New York, Virginia and Switzerland before moving to Arizona, my home.
Growing up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all over the world allowed me to have a very special experience of seeing how the church works across borders and cultures. In remote places throughout the world there are loving members of the Church. God loves all of his children no matter where they are from, wants them all to be happy and to know of His perfect love for them.
After finding and marrying a beautiful local Arizonan woman I attended school and graduated from the University of Arizona specializing in Management Information Systems. While I was still studying at the University I helped start up a local Tucson business and continue to work with them, utilizing my skills with technology.
I teach 13-14 year old Sunday-school at church and I absolutely love it. My wife is expecting and after 8 years of marriage I have never been happier or more excited for anything in my life.
I have always loved good cartoons, comic-books and video games. My life has led me to being a business executive, a nerd, a gamer, but most importantly to me, I am a Mormon.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because it makes me happy.
Personal Stories
Please share your feelings/testimony of Joseph Smith.
My testimony that I have of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ originates from the teachings and testimonies of Joseph Smith. If I did not take the time and sincerely ask our Maker if Joseph Smith was a true prophet and receive that answer in the affirmative, I would not have taken the time to receive testimony of Jesus Christ as our Savior. It is impossible to sincerely study the Bible and the Book of Mormon and not feel the Spirit of God and with it the embracing love of our Heavenly Father. I am grateful for the life and teachings of Joseph Smith and I am eternally grateful for the sacrifice and love of Jesus Christ.
Why do Mormons go on missions?
There is not one answer to this question. To oversimplify it I would say for two reasons.
1. This is a terrible reason, and I wish it were not the case, but unfortunately it is very common for mormon men to go because all the other men in their family have gone. This is especially true in places with a high population of mormons where a young man that doesn't go on a mission is almost a social outcast. However, this frequently leads to missionaries that are not properly prepared for their mission and do not make it through the 2 years.
2. Because a young man or woman has received a testimony of the truthfulness of the restored gospel and with that knowledge understands the importance of sharing it with others.
Why/How do you share the gospel with your friends?
By trying to live according to its teachings in my life and not judging others if they choose not to.
