Hi, I'm Carol
I am a happily married wife, mother and grandmother. I founded 2 non profit charities. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
Hi, I'm a wife, mother and grandmother. I love not only my children but all children. That love translated into founding 2 non-profit charities to help babies and their families. Those charities have been serving the sick and needy primarily in America, and also around the world.
I also like to fly, ski, boogie board surf in the ocean, read, sew, tat, serge, quilt, embroider, network on computer, do charity work, be involved with church activities, bicycle and spend a lot of time with family.
My greatest search in life is for truth. The gospel teaches us everything we want to know - about anything. If I have a question, I can find the answer in the scriptures, through prayer and in gospel doctrine. My relationship with the Savior helps me make important decisions and helps to smooth the bumps in life to a tolerable level. I have a strong testimony of the truthfulness of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and walk the talk every day, putting my love and gratitude for the Savior into action.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because of the decision I made to always be true to myself. I found out who I am, a daughter of God, and am faithfully loyal to the royal within me.
In a confusing world, it is wonderful to be free of the turmoil. I know who I am, where I came from and where I am going.
Being LDS helped me form my goals from thoughts and make them a reality. The only true peace in this life, and continuing happiness, is in having integrity and knowing where the path is and following it. Deviations are realities as we are all sinners, but with the gospel, I repent (daily), and keep on putting one foot in front of the other to eventually return home to my Heavenly Father, who patiently waits for me.
I know my path is the correct one for me and invite you to explore whether it is the right one for you, too. I think it is, but you have to know it is for yourself.
Personal Stories
How can we develop greater harmony in our homes?
We can develop greater harmony in our homes as we learn what our purpose on earth is. As each of us search for our identity and reason for being here, life becomes clearer and more organized. I am a wife and mother. My responsibilities are within the walls of my own home as I clean, bake, teach, tend, mind, obey, love, work, sew, knit, crochet, plant, and do a multitude of activities that bless my life and the lives of the children under the guidance of my husband. I am free from worrying about bills, stress of working outside the home and dealing with a harsh difficult world in a tough economy. I love being a woman and protected by a loving caring husband who treats me as an equal and cares tenderly for me.
My husband is the breadwinner and knows what his place is as well. He takes on the world to provide our family with peace, comfort, safety, love and our 'heaven on earth' on our home is a wonderful balance of two people working well together who know who they are, what they are doing here on earth, what their responsibilities are and what it is all for.
Harmony is when like-minded individuals decide to combine efforts to achieve a common goal. There are times when our responsibilities expand or need adjusting to meet specific needs, but for the most part, we co-exist peacefully because we know what is expected of us and we are happy together.
How I live my faith
Faith is shown through daily activity. Here are some of the components of my lifestyle showing how I live my faith: Prayer, sharing beliefs, teaching family, walking the talk, charity work, church attendance, fasting, serving in the community, reading scriptures and applying them to our daily lives, standing for truth and righteousness in all things, at all times and in all places, geneology work, living the word of wisdom (eating healthy, getting enough sleep and exercise), raising families, and constantly learning more about God, the Saviour and the Holy Ghost and applying what is learned in a positive way.
