Hi, I'm Jewell.
I'm an Army wife. I am an Apache...and I am a Mormon.
About Me
I am an Apache, from the San Carlos Apache Tribe. My husband and I were married in the Mesa Az Temple in 2002.
I love photography, I love my family, and as a family we love traveling.
Why I am a Mormon
A week before 17th birthday, my brother passed on in a fatal car accident. I was left feeling numb, empty, and filled with grief. I struggled with my emotions and beliefs, and inevitably came to the realization that I needed a firm religious foundation in my life. I needed to build my faith... But before I could do that, I needed the religious structure...
So I researched various religions, and it came down to two specific denominations. After meeting with the missionaries, I knew this was the foundation that I had been seeking. I found peace and solace in the gospel.

How has the Holy Ghost helped you?
The Holy Ghost has brought comfort and guideance into my life.
Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?
Prayer has always played a significant role in my life. I wasn't raised in a specific denomination; I didn't attend a specific church growing up, but my parent's did stress the importance of prayer to me. Prayer helped me get through many of the hard times in my life. Prayer has strengthen my relationship with my Heavenly father, it has increased my faith, it has strengthened me, and it has given me hope many times in my life. Prayer is vital to me.
How I live my faith
We have PCS'd to a new state, so we are in the process of getting our records transferred, and all of that good stuff. But as an Army wife, I must say that I am impressed with the church's recognition of the LDS Military families! We love that there are military wards!
