Hi, I'm Angela
I grew up in Horsefly, British Columbia. I'm a mother of two beautiful girls. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
My husband and I have been married now for almost 6 years. We have two beautiful little girls. I am priviledged to stay home and raise them. I love to garden, bike, camp, travel, sing and spend quality time with my family.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born to wonderful parents who lived the Mormon faith. I learned of the religion as a young girl. When I was about 10 years old, I really started to wonder if what I had be taught was really true. I wanted to know for myself if this was the path I wanted my life to take. Did Joseph Smith really see God and Jesus? Is the Book of Mormon really true? I learned of a promise in Moroni 10:3-5. If we read the Book of Mormon and ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, if it is true, God will manifest the truth unto us.
So, I decided to pray about my concerns. I expected that I would get a big revelation, similar to Joseph Smith. I even tried going to the woods to pray. Well, I didn't get my answer the way I expected it to come. I kept living what I'd been taught and continued to pray to know truth. I soon realized that the reason I didn't have a big revelation given to me was because I already knew the truth. As I'd been living this faith, God had revealed truth to me in many small and simple ways. Even today I still recieve day to day confirmations in my heart and in my mind through the power of the Holy Spirit that God lives, Jesus is my Saviour, Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, the Book of Mormon is the Word of God, and the original Church of Jesus Chirst has been retored to the earth in our day. It is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How has the Holy Ghost helped you?
It is through the Holy Ghost that I know the Mormon faith is true!
Why do Mormons go on missions?
I had the opportunity to be a missionary for the Mormon church. I wanted to go because my life has been blessed by living the Mormon faith. I knew that other peoples lives could be blessed by receiving the message of the missionaries. As I was able to teach others of my faith, I was strengthened in my own faith. I saw many people's lives changed miraculously by their embrace of Mormonism. I can not even discribe the happiness in my own self and in those who joined our faith. I'm grateful to God for blessing me with truth in my life.
How I live my faith
I love to visit other women in the church and build friendships. We are able to support eachother in our daily life challenges.
I am able to attend church on a weekly basis and be reminded of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for me and all mankind.
I try hard to teach my girls good principles by living the principles my self and answering their questions as they have them.

As is the case throughout history God has communicated to His children through prophets. God used a humble man as a prophet to restore His Church on earth who ultimately died defending His faith.
