About Me

I went to a school that there was very little mormons, only about 5 of us at the school of three thousand. I attended high school and was on the varisty wrestling team. I love to ride dirtbikes,quads, and to wake board. All types of extreme sports. I plan on going to college to become a Orthopedic Surgeon. Im currently on my mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon cause i know its is true through heart felt prayer and much struggles that I have been able to overcome through the the restored gospel. Also I am so happy to know that my family can be together forever. That Jesus Christ is the savior of the world.

Personal Stories

Could you talk about your baptism?

My baptism, was an amazing expirence. I love the fact that i got to share that with my twin sister. As ive gotten older ive learned to realise that it was a very joyful time. That it was my time with God and Jesus Christ. It was great to know that I get to be baptised the same way Christ did. I know it was one of my most happiest moments of my life.

How has the Holy Ghost helped you?

Holy Ghost has helped protect me in my life. When i was young at a scout camp out, we where confronted by a mountain lion, we where so surprised. The holy Ghost told my friend and me to go behind this tree and walk towards the fire, that we will be safe. After I listened to the Holy Ghost and told my friend and we where safe after we followed the prompting. So I know it is a great blessing to have the Holy Ghost as a constant companion.

How I live my faith

I am serving a mission, right now cause I know this Gospel is true. I wish to share it with every one.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Word of Wisdom is a law of health, that all of us live by. It helps our bodies stay clean and overral its makes us healthier and happier people. We stay away from harmfull substances, such as: coffee,tea,tobacco of any kind,alcohol, and illegal drugs. All of these help us will benefit by living this commandment. We will have better health and be able to live happier lives.

The word of wisdom is the Lord's law of health. We abstain from drugs, tobacco, alcohol, coffee, and tea, and are encouraged to eat wholesome food and grains, and not eat excessive meat. I am asked all of the time by my fellow residents at the hospital why I don't drink coffee, and how I can stay awake all night on call without it. I don't consider it a sacrifice, though, and am as awake and perform as well as any. It is true that the body will be more healthy when following the word of wisdom, the but the main benefit is spiritual. The knowledge that you are in line with the the Lord's teaching is the most important thing.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Absolutely not! While we definitely serve the members of our own church, we believe that ALL men and women on this earth are sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. Therefore, we are all one in purpose. Mormons serve people throughout the world on a local/personal level as well as on a global level. Members of our church are able to donate money, which is distributed throughout the world to people and nations in need, especially in times of trouble and disaster. It is also common for members of the church to organize activities where materials for humanitarian aid are gathered and distributed.
