Sean: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Sean

Im from Idaho, I'm Serving a mission in Florida, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to have fun and laugh. I can't imagine a day without laughter. I love creating things. I love to make graphic art or created short videos (like youtube stuff) that entertain people and make them laugh. I love sports, I use to have a sport bike and miss it a lot. I love the mountains and snow. My family means everything to me. I would do anything for them and couldn't imagine life without them. I love finding ways to serve others. I find that I'm most happy when I stop thinking about me.

Why I am a Mormon

I wish I had some elaborate story to share of how an angel appeared to me and showed me the path to happiness which was the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but it wasn't like that. I was raised a member of the church. I did what my parents asked. But just like anyone who becomes a teenager, you start making your own decisions. I decided I knew what happiness was and how to find it. Unfortunately the pathway I was walking was doing the exact opposite, making me miserable. But one miraculous day, after doing a lot of searching, I finally felt the spirit so strongly that I knew God was there, and I knew that Jesus Christ was REAL. My mind was enlightened, and I saw how blinded I had become. I knew the path I needed to take, It wasn't the most convienient or easy path, but in the long run I knew that it would bring me joy and peace. So I prayed for help to make changes in my life. The next day my Heavenly Father answered my prayer and gave me courage to start the repentance process and change. Now I am happy. From reading the Book of Mormon I truly came to know Christ. I know now that He is the only way to happiness. This path is the only path that will bring joy, and daily I see evidences of it. I need peace, I need comfort, I need my sould to be filled and thats why I am a Mormon.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

Being on a mission currently, I figure this a very appropriate question to answer. My whole life I have known that everyone wanted and expected me to go on a mission, but I was not sold on the idea. For most of my life, I would usually just say yes when people asked me if I was going on a mission, but deep down I knew that I was not. As I saw my life going nowhere, that is when I found Jesus Christ. My life was changed. The book of Mormon helped me find Him, and in Finding Him I found myself. For the first time, in a long time, I was happy. Thats when I knew I wanted to serve a mission. I wanted others to be happy. I was so grateful for the Truths that I had received, that I wanted others to find them. So now I'm sharing the gospel with others, and watching lives change.

How I live my faith

I live my faith right now by sharing it everyday! I am currently serving a mission. Those funny looking guys you see in white shirts and ties, yeah thats me! Everyday I get to help others find the path to happiness! There is nothing more rewarding than that.
