About Me

i was born in a low income family and lived paycheck to paycheck each day. i never really had much, but we lived and managed. grow up all over the west cost and moved a lot when i was a kid. i love to play sports no matter what as long as i am having fun. football and ruby are the best. i am a history major and love it. coverted while in high school and have loved every thing i have gotten in my life since.

Why I am a Mormon

i am a mormon because i have taken the steps and read and prayed to god and ask about the book of mormon. when i was in high school best friends told me to come to church and then later meet with the missionaries and then when meeting with them i believed they things i was being told and accepted it in my life. i served a mission in Michigan which grow my testimony of the church and how much it has helped me.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

We go on mission to help other come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel Thur faith in Jesus Christ and his atonement, repentance, baptism, reviving the gift of the holy ghost,and enduring to the end. we want the best for everyone and we believe that giving people the opportunities to hear the fullness of the gospel. i went on my mission to help people come under to the understanding of the gospel and help them have the gifts the gospel has for us.

Why/How do you share the gospel with your friends?

I live the gospel according to my understanding of it. I try each day to more fully love every person I meet no matter what. I share with my friends and family my testimony and the knowledge I have learn over the passed few years being a member of the church. By being the example the lord wants he is the force behind all that I do.

Could you talk about your baptism?

Baptism is a great way to show your love to your father in heaven. i was baptized at the age of 17. in a baptism you are immersed into the water by someone holding the priesthood of god (the power to act in his name). friends and families are there to watch and support you in the decision you have just made to change your life and become more like your savior Jesus Christ. the baptism represents the death,burial, and resurrection of your self and your leaving your sinful life behind and starting a new life of a disciple of Christ.

How I live my faith

I do anything the lord puts in my path with out question and never look back. i have been a clerk in my ward and have help teach the youth and gospel principles classes. i am a hometeacher and help the families i visit each month in whatever they need.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

prophets in the ancient Americas wrote the book of Mormon. A prophet historian named Mormon. abridged and the plate and writings of the other prophets and then put them together.Joseph smith was the one who translated it.

The Book of Mormon is a record of the ancient inhabitants of America, and their dealings with God; namely, the native Americans. God is no respector of persons; He loves all His children. He wants us all to make it back to live with Him; the Book of Mormon is proof to me that God loves all people of all nations; why would he only give His Word to just the Children of Israel?
The Book of Mormon was written by the prophets that were called of God on the American Continent; they too testifed that Jesus is the Christ, and he would surely come to redeem us from our sins. The book gets it's name from the prophet Mormon, who collected the individual records kept by prophets throughout the centuries, and complied them into one volume, written on gold plates. He gave them to his son, Moroni, who buried them in a hill by what is now known as Upstate New York. Centuries later, a young man named Joseph Smith, who wanted to know which church was true, had a vision of God the Father and His Son, who told him the truth was lost over the years, and he would be a tool in the Lord's hands to restore what was lost. A few years later, that same Moroni who buried the plates, visited Joseph as an angel of the Lord, and directed him to the ancient record. Through the gift on power of God, he was able to translate the book into English. The Book of Mormon helps us understand the fullness of the Gospel; with the Bible, we can discover God's will for us.
