Hi, I'm David
I'm a public speaker, trainer, author and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
After a 35 year career in information technology, I now keep busy as a public speaker and author. I speak about leadership, communication, and writing. I have ten published books and am working number eleven. I love my life.
Why I am a Mormon
As a child of the sixties, I searched for peace and love. I found that the promise of peace and love coming from drugs, free love, and rebellion was a lie.
I'm grateful that I learned that before I got too involved in such things.
I hitchhiked around the United States from coast to coast searching for the truth.
I found it with my sweetheart in 1972 when we hitchhiked through Provo, UT.
For nearly forty years we've lived rich lives filled with the real peace and love.
I'm so grateful.
How I live my faith
One of the questions I originally prayed as I began my search was, "I want to know how to serve you, but I don't know how. Please show me."
My heart was ready for the answer.
I've loved my life of service in the Church. Currently I help people in an inner-city congregation find meaningful work. I love it. I also lead the Sunday School teachers.
The blessings of service without expectation of return is so rewarding.
