Jeff: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Jeff

I'm a husband and father. I am a salesman. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

For a great part of my life, I put a lot of energy into performing and entertaining others, both through my cello and my voice. I still enjoy performing, although I don't get as many opportunities as I used to.

Now, I work and spend time with my family. I work so I can spend time with my family, for they are the most rewarding part of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel like I have always known who Jesus is and the role he should and could play in my life. I really got to know Him better when I was beginning high school. I remember feeling happy, feeling His influence, the more I read about Him and tried to live the way He wants me to.

A couple of decades later, that conviction is even stronger, and my greatest desire is for my family to share in the happiness that I feel when I follow His example. I am a Mormon because I want to be happy, and I know that happiness is conditional upon me doing what I know is right.

Personal Stories

Why do Mormons go on missions?

I went on a mission because I felt that it was the right thing to do. I was expected to go, and I never doubted that I would go. For me, it was an opportunity to serve others, but it was mostly about being obedient.

How I live my faith

Most of my church service has centered around music. I don't know if I am typecast because of music background, but I find so much joy and satisfaction in sharing my musical talents. In the past few years, I have taught children and adults songs to share with others. I love the interaction that music provides and feelings of peace and love that it promotes.
