Hi, I'm Clint

I'm a Mormon, and I love it! I grew up in Salt Lake City and have been so blessed to be a memeber of this church.

About Me

I'm a full time student and I work part time also. I just recently got engaged to the love of my life and will be getting married November 18 in the Salt Lake City Temple. I love watching and playing most sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and have always attended. When I was a young boy I would go to church because my parents took me with them. Around the time I was a teenager I started to develop my own testimony that this was the true Church of God. I started attending my Sunday meetings not because my parents made me anymore, but because I had a real desire to do so. I loved going to church and feeling the Spirit. When I was 19 years-old I decided to serve a two year mission. I was called to Honduras. The time I spent there has now become a focal point in my life. I was able to see lives changed because of the power of the Atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Serving my brothers and sisters, full-time for two years, gave me a different outlook on life. I'm able to see Christ's hand more in my life and it makes me very grateful for His role in each of our lives. I've been back two years now and I have the great opportunity to marry the girl of my dreams, Alyssa. I know that it was in God's plan that her and I meet, date, and get married in the temple- not just for time, but for all eternity. I'm so grateful that she will be my wife, even after her or I die.

How I live my faith

I love going to church on Sundays and being with other young adults who have chosen to put the Lord first in their lives. I live my faith by everyday striving to "be an example of the believers." (1 Tim. 4:12) I try to help others feel the love of God in their life, just as I feel it in mine, by being friendly and offering a helping hand whenever possible.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

Our prophet today is President Thomas S. Monson. He is the one who tells us the will of God, just as the prophets did in ancient times.

President Thomas S. Monson is our current prophet. He is called of God to receive revelation for us today. I am grateful for living prophets and apostles to lead and guide us in this troubled world. I know that they are called of God, and if we follow their counsel we will be happy.

What is the Relief Society?

The Relief Society is the organization in the Church where women come together to strengthen, serve, and teach each other. It's Motto is "Charity Never Faileth" which women of the Church live by to bring relief to the weary and down trodden. Women meet as a Relief Society each week to learn about the Gospel and grow closer to Jesus Christ. Women are asked to serve in many capacities within the Relief Society and give of their time and talents. There are also activities where women share skills and do service for those in their community as well as victims of disasters around the world.
