About Me

I really love Theatre, Choir, and pretty much anything that has to do with singing, dancing, or acting. I'm also a professional Magician, putting on shows at birthday parties and on street corners. I also enjoy building things and love working on cars! I'm currently serving as a full-time missionary for the Church in Mesa, Arizona and am loving it!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, and for a while just went to Church because that's what my parents did. It wasn't until my early teens that I realized the importance of my beliefs and the happiness and peace they gave me in everything that I do. I started to go to Church, Pray, and read my Scriptures becasue I wanted and needed Heavenly Father close to me. During High School, it got really hard to be a member, just because people didn't really understand what the Church was all about. I can honestly say I don't know where I would be without my beliefs, but with them, I'm a strong, happy, and devoted Son of God!

Personal Stories

How has The Book of Mormon helped you understand the purpose of life?

It has helped me know Where I come from, Why I'm here, and Where I'm going. Because of the Book of Mormon, I know that I'm a child of God, and that he loves me, and everybody that has lived, is living, or ever will live on this earth.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

We go on missions so we can spread the truth of the restored gospel! There are so many people that are kept from the truth only because "they know not where to find it." As missionaries, we invite others to come unto Christ, We share a message that brings peace and happiness to the soul, and helps people understand the true meaning of life.

How I live my faith

I love spending time with my family! It's such a blessing to know that I'll be able to spend eternity with them. I participate in a mentoring program for elementary and middle school students, as well as volunteer as much as I can. I work hard, and put forth 100% effort, because I want to! I love sharing the happiness that has come from being a member with those around me!

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Talk to any neighbors, friends, or co-workers you may know that are Mormon! Use the resources on this site to find out where a church service is near you, contact Missionaries, or read about other members, and when the Missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints come to your door, let them in!

On Mormon.org you can chat with a missionary online. At first I didn't feel comfortable inviting missionaries over to my house, so I chatted online with a missionary in Utah. I found that missionaries are just normal people, with normal hobbies and interests. After that I felt more comfortable, and I submitted the form to request that missionaries come to my house to teach me. Missionaries are very knowledgeable and can answer any questions you have about the Mormon faith.

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

In the Church we believe that marrige is between a man and a woman and that if a person acts on homosexual urges it is a sin. Inspite of us believing that homosexuality is a sin we think that we should love all of Gods childeren and we should not judge a person or condemn them. You can love the sinner and hate the sin. No one deserves to be degraded or bullied even if you dont agree with what they are doing. We are all childeren of God.
