Logan Fergus: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Logan Fergus

i'm a disciple of Jesus Christ, and I"m a Mormon

About Me

Hello, my name is Elder Logan Fergus. I have a laid back personality, but still get the job done. I enjoy hunting, watching movies, listening to music, and taking naps. Right now, I'm currently serving as a missionary in Florida, and loving it! I grew up in the church, but that doesn't necessarily mean that i've always known it was true. While on my mission, through different trials, and expreiences, i've developed my own, solid, pure testimony. I know that God, and Jesus Christ live, that the Book Of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith was, and is a prophet.

Why I am a Mormon

I"m a "Mormon", because this all makes sense to me. By living every principle of the Gospel, i know, and I promise that you can find true, lasting happiness. It's all for us, our good. God loves us, and wants to help us, and he is always there and waiting for us.

Personal Stories

How has the Book of Mormon brought you closer to God?

Literally every word, chapter, and verse refers to, or testifies of Jesus Christ, and his divine calling. We learn in the scriptures how we must know Jesus Christ to know the Father, our Heavenly Father. By studying the Book of Mormon, I learned my identity, and exactly what i must do to live every second of my life. It is truly written to us, and for us. I love it, and it will strenghten your faith in Jesus Christ.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

I have thought alot about my decision to serve a mission. It has been the best choice I have ever made.
Yound latter day saint adults may go on missions for their own reasons, but it is a chance for every one to experience the gospel every day in their lives, and to share it with others. it has helped me grow into the person that I know what God expects of me.

Could you talk about your baptism?

I was baptized when I was Eight years old. I don't remember everything about that day, but I remember how I felt. Just an overwhelming feeling of peace, comfort, and joy. I knew that I was doing the right thing, and that it was the start of something great. Now that i'm older, I now understand what I did, and the importance of baptism. Not only to be able to live with God, and my family forever, but that I have the gift of the Holy Ghost to constantly guide me, and direct me, and I'm so grateful for that...
I invite everyone everywhere to come and partake of this wonderful fruit, so that they can feel as I have felt.

How I live my faith

I take every day as it is. I find increadible strength in reading the Book Of Mormon. Even though I've read it, I still continue to study from it. I find something new every time i do that, that applies to me, and helps me keep going. No matter how many times you read the Book Of Mormon, keep reading it. When you finish it, start over again. Never stop. It contains the fullness of the ever lasting Gospel of Jesus Christ, and brings us closer to him.
