Hi, I'm Stacie
I'm a nurse. I'm a student. I love to sing and I am a huge Detroit Tigers fan. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am a student furthering my degree in nursing with a minor in spanish language. I am a nurse in a long term care facility and hospice. I love being a nurse because it's a career where I can help others often. I am a daughter, sister and aunt...and I LOVE it. I enjoy dancing, singing, playing the piano and many sports.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because I know this religion to be the only true gospel. I love the answers that I have through the gospel and the peace that it gives me on a day to day basis. Knowing I am a daughter of God and that He loves me more than I could ever imagine. To know that He has prepared this way for me to return to Him someday. I am a Mormon because I have felt the Holy Ghost minister to my heart and soul about the truthfulness of the gospel and it's teachings.

How has your knowledge of the Plan of Happiness changed/benefited your life?
Knowing the Plan of Happiness has benefited my life in countless ways. It's amazing to me to know that God is my spiritual Father. That He knows me by name and that He loves me enough that in the preexistance He knew we would need a Savior because we wouldn't be perfect. It's amazing to me how much He loves us. Enough to send His Son, Jesus Christ to atone for our sins so that we can return to Heavenly Father again. It's comforting to know that our struggles and weaknesses are only but a small moment and trial for us to learn and grown and develop experience to make us more like Christ so that we're worthy to enter the kingdom of God. It's easier to face the challenges of life knowing that I can always turn to my Savior for the comfort He brings. It's glorious to me to know that someday I'll be resurrected and I'll see my Father in Heaven again. The Plan of Happiness is amazing because we have eternal families, so even when we lose someone in this mortal life, we will again have them in the afterlife.
How does making right choices help us make more right choices?
Choosing the Right is one of our mottos around the church. When you choose the right it brings you closer to our Father in heaven and that makes it easier and almost effortless to continue to make correct choices in day to day life. When your life is in harmony with the gospel and you're choosing the right, you're joy is increased, which also makes it easier to make more of the right choices because everybody likes to be happy.
How I live my faith
I attend a young single adult ward, where people my age fellowship with each other and grow in the gospel. Family Home Evening is always a great way to keep us cenetered during the week along with Institute where the scriptures are not just read but studied and we find a deeper appreciation for the gospel and our Savior. I am called in the church to be the secretary serving over the women's group in our ward. Our group of women not only help each other out through our many struggles, but we also focus on how to become better daughters of our Heavenly Father and ways we can serve Him by helping others along the paths of life.
