Steven: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Steven

I'm relatively young. I enjoy enjoying. I like quoting movies. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a twenty-one year old kid from Idaho. I love my family, and I'm trying my best to love everyone else. I like music, and movies aren't too bad either. I enjoy sports, but lack athletic ability.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the Holy Ghost has testified to me that this is in very deed the restored gospel and church of the Savior. That witness came as I read from The Book of Mormon.
My conversion story is similar to those of others, but it is mine. I grew up in the church, and at a certain point during my teenage years I began to have doubts. Those doubts led me to question everything, even the very existence of God. To be fair, it was honest questioning rather than simple rebellion. Was I just so lucky that I was born into the right church? It was quite confusing. An experience I had shortly after I graduated high school brought me a crossroads of sorts. Either this was all true, or it was all false, and I really wanted to know. So I did what everyone is encouraged to do, I experimented. I read The Book of Mormon cover to cover. By the time I finished it, I knew that God lived, that Jesus Christ was His Son, and that He spoke to prophets today. Not all of my questions were answered, but they didn't really matter anymore. Exactly when I "knew" I can't recall. Looking back it was a gradual process. I read, I thought about what I was reading, and I prayed. The answer came, and I thank God for it.

How I live my faith

Well I have just returned from a doing the whole missionary thing. There I taught anyone who would listen about the gospel of Christ. It was an amazing experience, and it strengthened my faith. I live my faith by not forgetting who people truly are, children of God. If I can always remember that, I'll treat them kindly, and serve them.
