I'm known on the internet as TheFamousStacie. No, I'm not really famous. After a career working in television, I chose to stay home and be a mother when my first son was born. Three kids and eight years later I am still at home. While at home I have earned my Master's degree and taken on independent film as a hobby. I pay my student loan payments each month with the revenue I make as a YouTube Partner. I make silly videos and for some reason people watch them. I can't complain!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. Both my parents are converts from the South. I feel so blessed to have the Gospel in my life. So many of life's challenges can be avoided by following the Gospel. I am happy to be a part of something good.

How I live my faith

I live in the world, but not of the world. My friends come from every walk of life and I love that! I can be around all kinds of people, but still have my values and standards.

How can we stop the spread and influence of pornography?

People need to be educated on the dangers of pornography.

Presently, partners who are hurt by pornography are made out to be silly and unrealistic.

Those addicted to pornography feel self loathing, but powerless to break the cycle.

Children under the age of 12 that are exposed to pornography have a high rate of adult pornography addiction.

Personally we must be like Joseph of the Old Testament when Potiphar's Wife tried to seduce him - RUN!!!!!!

When we accidentally come across that unintentional website. Click OUT! Close the computer.

Keep doors open when we use the computer and watch children at all times. One click is all it takes for them to be exposed to inappropriate images that could affect the rest of their lives.

I believe that Mothers have the power to combat the evils of our day, one child, one bedtime story, and one encouraging conversation at a time. When we teach our children about their worth as children of God, they will find confidence in themselves, and they will be armed with the power to make correct choices and the wisdom to recognize that following Jesus Christ is the path to true happiness.

Where did Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints begin?

In the early 1800´s a wave of religious interest known as "The Great Awakening" swept the United States, and with it several new Christian churches. With so many different opinions on The Bible, many people were confused about which church was true. A young man named Joseph Smith lived in upstate New York with his family. They visted several churches and listened to several different preachers, but still came to no conclusion. A Bible passage in the first chapter of James reads "If any of ye lack wisdom, let him ask of God," and upon reading this and feeling very impressed by it, Joseph Smith decided that he could only get an answer through God. One day in the spring of 1820, he went into a grove near his house and began to pray. Unexpectedly, he was visted by God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, who told him that the Church organization Christ established on the Earth, the Priesthood authority to do sacred things, and many simple doctrines had been lost after His death and that of His Apostles. Christ also told Joseph Smith that with time, He would restore His church with the proper authority again on the Earth. After this visit, Christ sent other heavenly messengers inclding Peter, James, and John to lay their hands on Joseph Smith´s head and give Priesthood authority just like it was given in times of old. Over the course of 10 years, the same church that Christ established in His Earthly ministry with all its offices and the fullnes of the Gospel was restored.
