I am a business owner, love to workout, love motorcycles, love people in general and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a business owner in Northeast Florida. I enjoy watching the Florida Gators play football, riding motorcycles, working out regularly, going camping with the Scouts from my Young Mens group and basically just being around people that I care about and that care about me. I have a sincere compassion for all people regardless of their circumstances and I know that our Heavenly Father loves each and everyone of His children and wishes that all of them would come to the knowledge of His love for us and His desire for our happiness and progression towards being like Him. I attend services regularly and enjoy my calling as First Counselor in the Young Mens Group at church.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the church through my ex-wife and her family and for that I am truly greatful. I am a mormon because I have looked into many, many faiths and have found that the Mormon faith is compatible with my belief's about my Creator and His purpose for me and life on the Earth in general. I am a Mormon because it fills the void in my life perfectly and the Mormon faith is open to continuous revelation and revelation is the foundation of the church. We have a living Prophet to lead and direct the Church according to God's purpose and Will.

How I live my faith

I live my faith, knowing that my Heavenly Father has a purpose and will in all things and that my efforts to direct my life according to His Will will bring great blessings for me in my life. I know that He loves me and that He wants nothing more than the best for all of His children and there is peace in knowing that even in the most trying of circumstances.

What is faith?

It says in the Bible that: faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Which means to me that we are to live our lives in a way the truly believes that God and His ways are true. That we base our lives on these principals even though we cant necessarily see the outcome. We walk through this life trusting on what God's Word says and the promptings of the Holy Ghost and not necessarily on what our 5 senses perceive to be true!

It's another word for commitment. When assessing one's own faithfulness, it may be easier to ask, "How committed are you?"

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Family is very important in the church for more reasons than can be explained here. Holding the priesthood is just one of these reasons. Husbands act and bless their family with their priesthood, but wives benefit and honor the priesthood through their husbands. It is a symbiotic relationship. As I have participated in the church in various activities I have come to understand my importance as a woman in the church. There cannot be one without the other.
