Aubrey : Mormon.

Hi, I'm Aubrey

I'm a new wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been happily married for two years and have a toddler. I enjoy doing simple crafts, thrift shopping, and hosting parties. I like to keep busy, but I also like to just sit and watch a show. My favorite thing to do is hang out with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

As a young girl attending church, I felt in my heart that the principles taught were true and virtuous. At a young age, I felt the Holy Spirit testify of the truth of the LDS gospel. Whenever I was having a problem, I turned to the Lord for help and support, and after my prayers were continually answered, I knew that the Lord loved me, and that I was a daughter of God. I have strived to live His gospel, and keep His commandments, so that I can have His spirit with me always, to guide me in my day to day decisions.

Personal Stories

In what ways have your prayers been answered?

As a college student, I am so busy with school, work, church, and family that it is difficult for me to get everything done each day. Often when I find that I am getting in over my head, I realize that I haven't been praying. Then I remember to begin each day out with prayer. I pray that the Lord will bless me to organize my time more efficiently that I can get done what I need to. My days run more smoothly, and I more productive when I have first prayed for the Lord's help.

How has your knowledge of the Plan of Happiness changed/benefited your life?

Because I know that this world is not the end of my life, I live my life with purpose and meaning. I find myself trying to be better, and do better, because I know my decisions today matter.

How I live my faith

In my church ward, it is primarily newly married students. I love to go visiting teaching each month, where my companion and I are able to go visit a few sisters. We help them with anything they might need that month, chatting about our daily lives, as well as sharing a brief lesson where we discuss gospel principles. As we meet each month, our bonds of friendship are strengthened and we become more unified as a congregation.
