Hi I'm Lindsey

About Me

I'm currently a student at BYU Provo, and I'm loving every second. I'm majoring in Advertising, hoping to become a copywriter someday. I've been called to serve as a missionary in the New Hampshire Manchester mission. I love sunny days, cool grass, boating, horseback riding, and reading books on my front porch. I want a job that will allow me to associate with many different types of people, and I want to travel the world. My dream is to study abroad in New Zealand or Australia. I love chocolate milk, pomegranates, and popcorn. I love basketball, football, baseball, and I recently started playing rugby. I love country music, John Mayer, and indie music. I love short paragraphs and sentence fragments. I believe a long drive can solve almost any problem. My family and friends are the most important people in my life. And no matter how crazy my life is, or what is going wrong, I believe a smile always makes everything better. And God always gives us a reason to smile.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a LDS family, and my parents have always shared their love of the gospel with me. In addition, I've always felt the church is true, and as I've grown older the truth of the gospel is even more obvious to me. I've never had a moment of revelation, showing that the church is true like you hear in so many stories. I've just found so many reasons that testify to me the truth of the gospel. I can't go a single day without seeing God's hand in my life, whether its a simple sunset, the beauty in a snow storm, or just a phone call from a old friend when I'm having a hard day. I know I can turn to Him for help whenever I need, and if I take the time to listen and do what I should, He will answer.

How I live my faith

I believe that the greatest example of my faith is in how I treat others. Everyone had their struggles, whether you know it or not. I strive to help improve at least one person's life daily, just like Christ does. I listen for promptings from the Spirit, and try my best to act on them.
