I love my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First, I am an optimist. I am married to a loving, supportive man. We were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple on a cold winter day almost eight years ago. We have two young sons whom we delight in. I love to work, play, and laugh with my family. I also love volleyball, outdoors, cooking and sewing.

Why I am a Mormon

It's simple really. I know my Savior lives. I know He helps me through my trials. I know I am loved by God. I know he has a plan for my life. I am happy when I follow God's commandments and His living prophets. I have felt His watchfulness over me and awareness of my needs. I want to serve others and teach my children to follow God so they can find happiness in His gospel.

How can your talents and gifts bless others?

My talents enrich and bless my life, my family, and those I serve as I fulfill my duties as a member of the church. I have found blessings in serving others and increased strength as Heavenly Father has enabled me to do difficult things.

How I live my faith

Everyday. Day by day. With young children life is ever changing and challenging. Grandma moved in with our family one year ago due to declining health. It has been challenging and rewarding for everyone. We live far from other family members and we appreciate the bond our young sons are making with their grandma. I am daily guided with patience, understanding and inspiration as I serve my family and learn about the Saviors love for each of us.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Although short, our life on this earth is of utmost importance. Here we have gained a body for our spirit. Here we have begun eternal families. We do not cease to exist when our body dies. We will be resurrected as was Christ. We have opportunities to further perfect ourselves and become like our Heavenly Father.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

The president of the church today is the prophet of the world. His name is Thomas S. Monson. I know he is lead by God and leads God's church.
