I am a wife to the best husband in the world. It isn't everyday you get the opportunity to be married to your best friend and he be a pastry chef. We have five children that range in age from 5 to 20. I own a bakery, restaurant and catering company. I am the PTO president at the local private Catholic school. I love my active life.
I was raised by good loving parents who taught me about my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. For as long as I can remember I have known that I was loved by not only my earthly parents but, by my Heavenly Father as well. He loves us so much that he sent His only begotten Son to atone for my sins. As I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon and learn more about this atonement it helps me to gain a more sure knowledge of where I came from, why I am here on this earth, and that I know that one day I will be with my Heavenly Father again. The lessons that are taught at church help to remind me on a weekly basis of these principles.
It isn't possible for me to be perfect but, I do try my absolute best to be the person that would make my Heavenly Father proud. I try to be honest in all my doings and teach my children to be good upstanding people in our community. We live with the motto, "I am trying to be like Jesus." I know that I make plenty of mistakes but, I do all that I can and pray daily that tomorrow I will try a little harder to be a little better. Life is hard but, what would be the fun in life if everything was easy or just handed to us. Do I love all the trials in my life? No, but, I truly appreciate all that I have learned from them. I have the opportunity at church to work with the other mothers and women of the church and I love to sit and listen to their stories. We are so blessed to have a sisterhood in the church where we can learn from one another and be a support and help for each other. It strengthens my faith everytime I hear of how they handle their personal trials, they teach me and strenghthen me when I am feeling down. I know that is what our Savior does for each of us. Jesus Christ was the perfect example of comforting those that need comfort, mourned with those that mourn, and healed the sick. How blessed I am to have that sisterhood here on earth now.
