I am a hard worker, out going person, I love to dance and have fun, reading is one of my new favorites things, I am also very active and above all I am a loving person, I am married and I love my husband and my family very much. I think education is very important and being self reliant.

Why I am a Mormon

And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall. Helaman 5:12

I know that if Christ is my foundation and I follow his teaching I will return to live with my Heavenly Father one day.

In what ways have your prayers been answered?

Prayer is a powerful thing, many of my prayers have been answered. One that I would like to share was when I was going to make the decision of getting married, I prayed to my Father in heaven if I was making the right choice, if that young man was the right companion. the man that would not only make me happy here on earth but also in heaven. I received my answer that I was making the right choice, I am happily married I haven't been happier.

How I live my faith

By being a good example to those around me, helping those who need of me, being a light for the ones who need guidance, and following the teachings of my Savior Jesus Christ.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

We need a Savior because without him we wouldn't be able to repent from our sins, be clean, and have the opportunity to return to live with our Heavenly Father.

There are doctrinal answers to why we believe we need a Savior to redeem us from the Fall of Adam and to return us to our Father in Heaven that you'll probably come across here. But let me tell you why I need a Savior personally and what He does for me. Christ suffered personally for my pains, sorrows, and sins so that if I ask Him too, He can take them from me. I have been the victim of abuse in my life, and yet through Him I have been able to lay it all at His feet, freely forgive, feel peace, find love, and understand how important negative life experiences can be in teaching us humility. Daily He takes my pain and replaces it with pure love so that I am no longer a victim, but a victor. I need a Savior because He knows me, and through him my flaws become strengths and my pain becomes peace.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, Mormons are definitely Christians! The official name of our church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. In fact during the course of the Book of Mormon, Christ appears and ministers to the people of The Book of Mormon. We just like other Christian denominations believe that Christ is our Savior. I personally know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. He lived and died for me, and the atonement makes it possible for me to be forgiven and cleansed from my sins.
