Hi, I'm Camille
I love old scary movies, reading, and 80's music. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I'm from Utah but I love to travel.
I've been to many countries in Europe.
I love reading, movies, and music.
I'm trying to learn to cook!
I'm madly in love with my husband.
I work for a music company. I help plan and organize concerts and I also make music videos!
Why I am a Mormon
Born and raised in Utah, I've been surrounded by Mormon church members (Latter-day Saints) my entire life. This was hard growing up, because I felt like a lot of my peers were living the Gospel simply because their parents told them to.
When I left home to attend a university, I felt lost and alone. I knew I needed to find true meaning for my life. I researched more about the church as well as other religions. I realized that although all religions encourage to live righteously, only the LDS church's Plan of Happiness gave me the hope I needed.
I am a fully active member of the LDS church because I believe it is Jesus Christ's restored gospel on the earth today.
Personal Stories
How has your knowledge of the Plan of Happiness changed/benefited your life?
Because I know that my family can be together forever, death is just a temporary separation.
Two years ago my grandmother died. At her funeral, it was sad to see that some of her family members were so devastated. They thought they would never see her again.
Through the Plan of Happiness, I know I will be able to see my grandmother again. We can be together for eternity after our time here on earth.
At her funeral, while some people were miserable, I was at peace. I was happy my grandmother had lived a righteous life and I knew I would see her again.
I'm grateful for the Plan of Happiness because it gives me hope for an eternity with my family.
How I live my faith
I go to church every Sunday.
In my local ward, I am an advisor for the young women. I teach them lessons on Sunday and help them with weekly activities. It's a lot of fun!
I love that the church is very family-oriented. On Monday nights my husband and I have Family Home Evening. We love to be together on Mondays and play games or eat treats.
