About Me

I'm a mom. I lead my family in a life of joy and wellness.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it brings peace, joy and knowledge that my family can be together forever! I know God has a plan for each and every one of our lives. I see and recognize God's hand in my life everyday. He gives me enormous blessings and a wonderful family. I want to show my love and gratitude to my Father in Heaven, and be a tool in his hands through serving others and my family.

How I live my faith

We read the scriptures, like the Book of Mormon, with our child every day. We love hearing her repeat the words, and become familiar with the teachings of Jesus Christ and his prophets.
I enjoy serving alongside fellow women in our areas church women's group. I help communicate activities, events and other news to the women in our area church. I also am involved in planning Sunday meetings and other monthly weekday events. I feel grateful to be serving other women around me in a community where I know I am loved. I'm glad I can serve Jesus Christ as I help and serve the women and families around me.

    Absolutely. If God loved his children in ancient times enough to send them, does He love us any less?

    Prophets serve at least 2 purposes.

    In the past, Christ Jesus personally called prophets, apostles, evangelists, teachers, deacons, etc, according to the Apostle Paul. He uses such leaders to help move His great work forward, because it is through selfless service that we develop Christ-like qualities and allow us to be one with Him so that we may be One with the Father. Having a living prophet allows the Father to teach hitherto new principles or doctrine to all His children. We can always interpret scripture to meet our intimate needs through personal revelation via prayer and communion with the Holy Ghost. But the greatest acts of service are always done through the synergistic power of communities, whether they are a family or a nation. Our Father in Heaven understands this and he communes with his living prophet, Thomas S Monson, in order to bless the lives of all His children regardless of their circumstances or creeds.
