Mindy: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Mindy

I'm a CNA, a nursery worker, a wife, a sister, & a friend. I plan to become a Special Education Teacher & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First of all my hobbies are: Anything dealing with horses in particular, trail riding; acrylic painting, drawing, illustrating, writing adventure fiction and fantasy, I'm an avid reader, i love to cook and make up new recipes even though i am bad at remembering to put it down on paper (i almost never measure out my spices... ever. I just know what to put in), i love to learn about history and i love English and Classic Literature of all kinds. I love to serve others around me... maybe a little too much. I'm a happy person by nature.
Secondly, I have plans to someday become a special education teacher and then administrator. I also plan to become a mother hopefully sometime soon. I have a license as a Certified Nurse Aide or CNA, again because i love to serve and help others. I'm definitely a Social Butterfly. I Hope to have a nice decently long life ahead of me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church but then again everyone always has the choice to stay in their religion right? So i stayed a member of the church because i find there is nothing comparable to the peace, joy, happiness, and spiritual safety it brings to be a member of this church. Just the knowledge and understanding you gain from the church and the surety you gain that every piece of it is true, is the biggest comfort in this life. I know without a doubt everything i have learned here has made me who i am because i was taught the things i needed to know to navigate though this life safely and how to make it even when the going gets tough. there are countless things that could have ended really badly that didn't because i knew through what i had been taught how to handle it, find the way out of it, and got out of it. I know it without a doubt this church is true.

How I live my faith

i have served in callings in whatever ward I've been in such as a activities committee member, a webelos assistant cub scouts leader, a nursery worker and a primary teacher for the 10 year olds (Primary, is the classes and a singing time the children ages 3 to 11 go to during the adult classes on sunday). When the opportunity arises i also serve in the community as well. For example there was one time i served as a poll book judge on election day in 2008.
