How has the Holy Ghost helped you?

My story is simple. I was born and raised in the church, I had a very strong active parents who guided me and helped me down the right path all growing up. I was baptized at 8 years old and received the power of the holy ghost. I attended college in my hometown, and continued to live there when I was first married, life was good. I knew I had a testimony of the gospel but I lived in a town 99% mormons so my faith and religion was never questioned because everyone was mormon. That all changed when My husband and I packed up a U-haul with all of our belongings and drove across the country. I knew no one and was scared out of my mind knowing that I was out of my comfort zone, and that I wasn't surrounded by family and friends. I have never had to rely on my Heavenly Father more. I now have lived here for over a year, and I can truly say I have a strong testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints. I encouraged myself to pray, ask for guidance, and to have the Holy Ghost with me when someone did ask me about my faith. I love knowing that I have grown so much because of this experience. I have had to rely on my faith, and my knowledge and the spirit to guide me and help me teach and serve others who may not have the same religious views. I'm a much stronger member of the church now, because I know for myself that the church is true. I have grown up so much because I have had to rely on myself and had to learn for myself the truthfulness of the gospel, and I have. I have felt the Holy Ghost lead me through prayer, study and listening. Life is good, and I know that the Church of Jesus Christ if Latter Day saints is true.
