Hi, I'm Jenni
I'm working my way through college. I love dancing. I'm a Mormon
About Me
I am currently attending college and am enjoying being able to continue to learn and not just academically. Since being away from home I have opportunities to learn and grow in many ways. I think one of the biggest has been spiritually. It's hard being away from home, and I have come to know my Heavenly Father much more than I used to. I love to take walks, especially in the fall when there are leaves on the ground or when it's raining, snowing, or is windy. I like messing around with my soccer ball and playing at the park. I like getting all cuddled up in a blanket and watching movies. I love late night talks with my roommates, and I love country swing dancing.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because that's what my parents raised me to be. I continue to follow my Savior's gospel because it is what I believe in and know to be true. When I follow in my Savior's footsteps is when I am most happy. I know that I can turn to my Heavenly Father anytime I want to. He is always there for me, and He will always love me. I know that is true, and what a beautiful truth that is. I cannot nor do I want to imagine my life with the light, truth, and peace that this true and pure gospel brings. I am certainly not perfect and neither is anyone else, but the gospel is perfect. Truth is perfect.
Personal Stories
How can we develop greater harmony in our homes?
Pray together, read scriptures together, spend time together. Talk to each other. Don't so distracted in life that you don't have time to be with your family. Support each other, and love each other.
How I live my faith
I strive everyday to do the things that let the light of Christ shine through me so that others may be drawn unto Him. I make sure that I do my best to attend my church meetings so that my faith will continue to be strengthened. For my ward calling I have a group of people in my ward that are my "family". ( I attend a singles ward). I am the "mother" of this family and I make sure that they are doing okay, and if anyone needs help I do what I can to help them. There is another girl in my ward and we get together and prepare a spiritual thought, and then we go and share it with a certain other girl in our ward. We also make sure that she's doing okay, and help her if she needs it ,and we be her friend.
