Hi, I'm Keith
I grew up in Utah. I married and moved to Texas. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am a husband and father and am now beginning to have granchildren
Professionally, I am a self employed Certified Public Accountant with a tax preparation business and a QuickBooks maintenance business that I own.
I love theater and serve as treasurer for a family friendly theater in the DFW area. I also serve the community in other service related organizations.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born into the church and have been active all my life. As a teenager, I had the same questioning mind that many teens have. I knew I would be expected to serve as a missionary at age 19. I decided I needed to know for myself if this church was true. So I commenced to read the Book of Mormon for the first time by myself with the intent to learn for myself if it is what the church says it is.
I read every day and pondered the things I read. I knelt and prayed each night before going to bed. I committed to serve as a missionary if the Lord would answer my prayer. If not, there was no way I would go on a Mormon mission. I did not get an answer at first. In fact it took a few weeks as I continued reading. But in time, I would go to bed, with a most peaceful feeling. I truly experienced the assurance promised in Moroni Chapter 10. I felt God's love completely. I knew then without a doubt that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that David O McKay was the living prophet of God at that time.
I did serve a mission to Brazil at age 19. Since, I have faithfully served in whatever calling I have received. I love the Lord, His restored gospel, and the peace that this knowledge brings to me every day.
How I live my faith
I begin every day reading from the pages of the Book of Mormon. This enables me to ask for and receive guidance from the Holy Spirit each day in all the things I do.
I attend the temple every week and have served as an ordinance worker when I had church callings that enable me to have this opportunity. I love the temples of the church.
I accept whatever calling, or service opportunity, I am asked to fulfill. With this attitude of service, I have enjoyed many wonderful experiences throughout my life including as a missionary, in boy scouts, and in leadership positions in both the ward and stake.
I have always believed I should live the things I teach. My family has faithfully held family home evenings, we pray together, and we attend church every week as a family. When my wife had callings that required her attention, I took care of the children. She did the same for me.
By serving the Lord first, we have been blessed beyond description in all other parts of our lives.

Joseph Smith
As is the case throughout history God has communicated to His children through prophets. God used a humble man as a prophet to restore His Church on earth who ultimately died defending His faith.
