Hi, I'm Kaylen
I'm determined. I'm enthusiastic. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
Hey! I'm Kaylen, I'm 20 years old. I am preparing to serve a Mission. I have been reactivated to the Church, meaning: I was raised LDS, but I was inactive for about 5 years. About a year and a half ago, I had an amazing experience that brought me back to the Church. I have never felt so strongly that this is the true Church.
Why I am a Mormon
I have chosen to be a Mormon because the Holy Ghost as repeatedly told me it is true. When I was inactive, a friend of mind took a walk. We ended up walking down by Temple Square. I stepped on the side-walk on the Temple Square grounds, and was immediatly filled with this feeling of love and understanding. I wanted to know what it was and why I felt that way. When I stepped off the Square, the feeling was gone. It took me a few weeks to go back again, but when I did, the feeling was back again. I wanted to learn more about it and understand it. So, that is what begun my journey into becoming a Member of the Church again. I am learning more and more about the Church everyday. I love everything that I am learning, and want to be able to share it with as many people that will listen.
How I live my faith
I teach the 11 year olds. They are some of the most amazing young adults (almost) that I have met. They usually end up teaching me more about the lesson. They seem to have a different outlook on what we are learning each week. By having this calling, I get to study the scriptures even more, I get to study the scriptures about a specific topic week to week. So in turn I get to learn more and more about the topics, than I normally would by my own scripture study.

Joseph Smith
As is the case throughout history God has communicated to His children through prophets. God used a humble man as a prophet to restore His Church on earth who ultimately died defending His faith.
