Alicia: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Alicia

I love being a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and a mother of 1 beautiful girl. I love being a mother and teaching her things. I work part-time to help support our family and to get us back on our feet. I like spending the free time I do have chatting with girlfriends, couponing, reading books. I am also studying to become a doula so I can help other women feel the joy I have in becoming a mother.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church. I love this church and know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I love being able to be linked to my family forever through the blessings of the temple. I know from experience that the atonement (or suffering and resurrection) of Jesus Christ can heal your soul when nothing else can. I know my Savior can make me feel whole when even my family cannot. I know that we have a wonderful prophet who leads and guides this church today. I am so grateful for Heavenly Father's guidance through our prophet, apostles, and the other leaders of this church.

Personal Stories

What blessings have come through your faith in Jesus Christ?

The greatest blessing I have experienced from my faith in Jesus Christ is my ability to be a better wife and mother coupled with a greater sense of peace. When we have Faith in the Savior, we know that we can expect blessings from choosing to follow His commandments. These blessings may not always come immediately, but they do come and they give us something to look forward to during trials.

Recently, I have made a goal to have more faith. By doing so, I have been more patient with my husband and daughter, more in tune to the Holy Ghost, more willing to serve, etc. Even though we, like many, are struggling financially, I have been happy and have had a bright hope of what lies ahead in our future so long as I keep strengthening my faith in Him.

How I live my faith

My family recently moved, so we do not have specific positions of service in our church yet, but I spend my time trying to help the new members of our ward feel welcome and trying to serve as much as I can.
